DEI Faculty Fellows Program

Purpose:
To promote the acquisition of DEI-related skills
To build DEI capacity within the faculty
To evaluate a peer-to-peer education model to improve faculty knowledge and engagement in anti-racism work

Eligibility:
All Nursing faculty members

Application Process:
Complete a program online application
Demographic information
500-word essay
Letter of support from the Department Chair

Program Process:
Attend biweekly sessions with fellows for 1-2 hours
Attend monthly front porch chat to discuss capstone project
Participate in a pre/post-program assessment
Participate in a focus group at the end of the program
Complete a program evaluation
Complete a capstone project

Stipend:
Fellows will receive a $1,000 stipend, which will be paid at the beginning and completion of the program
Fellows will receive a $50 book stipend
